When will I get my policy documents?
You should receive your policy documents by email within minutes of purchasing your policy. Please ensure that you provide the correct email address. You can also request documents to be sent to you by post for an additional cost. These will be sent by 1st class post on the next working day. Please allow 5 working days for delivery.
What if I want to change my policy?

How do I know if a country is classed as Europe or Worldwide?
When entering your requirements to get a quote simply click on the ‘?’ next to Destination and you will see which categories each country comes under.
What does Annual multi-trip mean?
This type of policy will cover you for as many trips as you like in a year providing each trip does not exceed a certain number of days.
If I buy an annual policy will this cover if I go on a cruise?
If you want to add cruise cover to an annual policy simply select Cruise Cover on the Policy Options tab, then update your quote to give you a list of the insurers which can offer this cover.
How many days per trip will I be covered for on an annual policy?
This will vary according the insurer that you choose. A typical limit is 31 days, but some insurers will offer longer and some a shorter maximum duration. Please check the individual insurers policy wording by clicking on the ‘Policy Details’ link, or look in our comparison table.
Am I covered for pre-existing medical conditions?
If you or anyone to be covered on the policy has a pre-existing medical condition please call our UK based call centre on 0845 092 0600 where our call agents will be able to give an instant quote. We regret that we cannot offer cover for pre-existing medical conditions online.
What do you class as a pre-existing medical condition?
A pre-existing medical condition is any disease, illness or injury whether diagnosed or not.
Am I covered for bungee jumping or other adventure sports?
The ‘Policy Options’ tab includes a list of activities which are covered as standard by all of our insurers and you can also choose to include other activities for an extra cost. Cover of adventurous activities will vary for different insurers, we recommend that you check the full policy wording to ensure you will be covered for any activities you intend to take part in before purchasing a policy.
What is Excess waiver?
In the event of a claim most insurance providers will require you to pay the first part of the claim, known as the Excess. Typically this ranges between £75 and £100. Selecting the excess waiver option means, providing your claim is successful, the insurance provider will pay the full amount of your claim and you will not have to pay the policy excess.

What should I do if my bag is stolen while I’m away?
If you are unlucky enough to have property stolen while you are away, most insurers will require you to obtain a police report. What should I do if the airline loses my luggage?
If your luggage doesn’t arrive with you at your holiday destination or when you return home you should notify the airline immediately and obtain a Property Irregularity Report. When should I start my annual policy?
You can start your annual policy whenever you wish but we recommend that you start the cover on the date you purchase the policy. That way you will be covered immediately for cancellation.
How do I get a quote for winter sports cover?
When entering your details to get a quote please select winter sports under travel insurance type. This will be different for Annual policies.
I’m travelling on business, how do I make sure my business equipment is covered?
